Hello uthawi friends,

For the last 4 days, due to the Sri Lankan army's progress towards the uncontrolled area in Batticaloa, people are being displaced.

Meantime, the telecommunications of those regions are cut-off as well. Because of this, we are unable to know the well-being of our homes' children. Only today, children from Vipulananda Home contacted us.
they said, since the situation is really bad, they have moved to army controlled area. And right now they have put few children in the Manickawasakar Home in batticaloaSanthivezhi and in a home in Kurukkalmadam, others are in the care of the safe hands.

we can't give any information about Sakthi Children's home and Kathiroli Home since we don't have any contacts with them. From the people who came from these regions, we've heard that they had been safely displaced.

The situations are going to continue like this. If its going to be like this, we have to think seriuosly about these children's future.

First: we have to work to bring together the chidren who are displaced and spread everywhere.

batticaloawe have to find a shelter for them; also, we have to work on a mission to bring all the children to one place, on time.

Even though this is based on a long term goal we have to think about this atleast considering the current situation.
